There’s the Japanese way of cooking it; the Chinese way; the Korean way; and also the European and American have ways of cooking them.

Adding garlic to your menu will always give it something to look forwards to. Garlic makes the food tastier as long as you follow the right procedure cooking the dish.

The tangy flavor is a good cover against the natural taste of some food which does not agree with our tongue. The strong odors of garlic are not to assault your nose trills but to negate the unpleasant smell of some of the foods.

Garlic head is composed of several cloves. A clove can be considered the unit of garlic’s existence. The cloves are used for planting to propagate garlic and it’s used to designate how much garlic is needed to cook the dish.

Like for example in cooking garlic noodles, for every 3 oz of noodles, you need to add 1 clove of garlic. The number of cloves will determine how garlicky the menu is. You don’t say half a head or one third of a bulb.

So if you cook 3 oz of noodles, you will need, say, 3 cloves of garlic. Now, if you find that too strong for your taste you can either use smaller cloves or reduce it to 2 or 2.5 cloves.

For sautéing, you may use butter or cooking oil. Three tablespoons will suffice. You may add small size shrimps or chicken breast, shredded. Oregano, sugar, salt, pepper, soy sauce and others, are good additional ingredients for your noodles.

Put water in a skillet and bring to a boil. Put the noodles to boiling water. The water should cover the noodles completely. When noodles are tender enough, pour the water out and place noodles in a bowl container.

Put oil or butter to the skillet and place over a flame. When the oil begins to sizzle drop the crushed garlic and wait till it turns pale brown. Pour all the other ingredients that you have and when they’re almost cooked add the noodles and continue to stir to make sure that the noodles and the ingredients are evenly cooked.

Remove and transfer to a shallow dish and you have your garlic noodles. This is a good health food for the family. Don’t use ingredients that have cholesterol in them.

You can add hot chicken broth to make a soup.
